Dr. Ed Wood Memorial Scholarship

The Dr. Ed Wood Memorial Scholarship was established Dr. Wood’s honor. His intelligence was admirable, but he was best known for his infectious laugh, witty sense of humor, passion for teaching and his guidance to his students. Professor Wood continued to be a wealth of knowledge, love, and laughter to his students, friends, and coworkers until his passing on August 23, 2024. Awardees of this scholarship will be a GSU Social Science major with financial need a and a minimum 3.00 GPA.
