VFW Post 5469/American Legion Post 42 Scholarship

Established 1992 The VFW Post 5469 and American Legion Post 42 Scholarship was established to support scholarships for a son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter or other descendants of a veteran honorably discharged from the armed services of the United States. Preference is given to descendants of Gilmer County veterans, whose son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter is a graduate of Gilmer County High School.
